Our Partners

Lori Evers
Lori Evers, C.P.A., has a strong background in the tax area. She graduated with honors from the University of Tampa, with a double major in Accounting and Arts Management. She has been involved in public accounting since 1980, having spent four years working as the Tax Manager for a large, local C.P.A. firm before the formation of Evers and Fox. Lori is especially strong in the area of individual estate and trust taxation. She also spends a portion of her time dealing with IRS litigation taxation and collection issues. Currently Lori is a Trustee for the Georgia Federal Tax Conference, The Leadership Team for the Management of an Accounting Practice (MAP) Section of the Georgia Society of CPA'S, and the Local Board of the Community Foundation for Greater North Fulton County. Lori is past Chair of the Taxation Committee for the Georgia Society of CPA’s, and the Atlanta Tax Study Association. She has served on the American Institute of Certified Public Accountant’s Tax Practice and Procedure Committee. Lori's emphasis is on individual tax planning and preparation, executive compensation and stock option planning, trust and estate taxation, tax litigation and collections.
   


Marshall Fox
Marshall Fox, C.P.A., has spent a great deal of time and effort in the tax area, as well as in the accounting side of the practice. He received a Master of Taxation Degree from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree, with a major in Accounting from the University of Georgia. Prior to the formation of Evers and Fox, Marshall was with a large, local C.P.A. firm for eight years, serving as Tax and Accounting Partner. He is responsible for a large number of small business and accounting clients and has extensive experience in that area. Marshall’s expertise in the area of accounting, corporate, partnership and small business planning and taxation, make a good team from which their clients will benefit.

Christopher M. Peterson - Manager
Christopher M. Peterson, C.P.A graduated from Georgia Southern University, with a double major in Accounting and Finance. He also earned a Master of Accountancy degree from Georgia State University and is currently in the Master of Taxation program. He has been involved in public accounting since 1997 and is particularly strong in the real estate area. Chris is an active member in the Georgia Society of CPAs.
   


Cathy Pinholster - Manager
Cathy Pinholster, C.P.A., has had many years experience in the tax and accounting areas. She received a Master of Accounting Degree with a concentration in Tax and a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with a major in Accounting from Kennesaw State University. She is also a QuickBooks Pro advisor and is a member of the AICPA and the Georgia Society of CPA’s. Cathy’s areas of expertise include accounting, corporate, partnership, and small business taxation and planning.
   


Michael Kimmell - Staff Accountant
Michael Kimmell, C.P.A., received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting Degree from Waynesburg College. Mike's career began at an international certified public accounting firm where he advanced to Tax Manager and his clients included large and medium sized publicly traded and private corporations, public utilities, and individuals with complex tax issues. He authored the firm’s nationwide tax training manual on Inventories that was used for many years. Mike moved to a regional firm to assume a Partner position where his clients included small to medium publicly traded and private corporations, complex family trusts and substantial individuals, two of which were listed as among the wealthiest 400 individuals by Forbes Magazine in late 1980’s. He was honored as one of Money Magazine’s Best Accountants in 1988. Mike’s current areas of specialization include the unique tax situations faced by attorneys, self-employed individuals, and small businesses.
   


Tomeka Galloway Miller - Staff Accountant
Tomeka Galloway Miller has been with Evers & Fox, P.C. since 2005. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Howard University in 2004. Tomeka has served in the United States Army Reserve as a Personnel and Finance Officer. She has experience in individual tax preparation as well as auditing. She is currently a member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
   


Christine M. Barron - Staff Accountant
Christy has been with Evers & Fox since December 2007. After interning with the company for eight months, Christy officially joined the team in August 2008. Christy also completed her Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from Kennesaw State University in 2008. Christy’s emphasis is on accounting and tax preparation for small businesses, partnerships, and corporations.
   


Stephanie Leiser - Staff Accountant
Stephanie joined Evers & Fox, P.C. in August of 2008. She specializes in individual, trust and estate tax. She graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2008 with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Stephanie is a member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is also a volunteer at Good Mews, a local cat shelter.
   


Cindy Williams - Bookkeeper
Cindy Williams has worked in the accounting field for six years. She is working on a Bachelors Degree in Accounting through Georgia Highlands and Kennesaw State University. Cindy is a Certified QuickBooks Pro-Advisor. She is currently working on her Advanced Certification with Quick-books. She is a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers and is also a Notary. In addition to QuickBooks, Cindy works with a variety of software programs and her areas of expertise include individual and corporate bookkeeping, payroll, and sales tax concerns.
